Vetiver is a dry woody note with rooty earthiness, smoke, bitterness, and sometimes green or nutty facets. After citrus and spice, it grounds a fragrance and keeps brightness from floating away.

Use in Perfumery

It is widely used in base notes with citrus, spices, aromatics, leather, musk, and amber. It can read classic and masculine, but in lighter formulas it also creates a clean, dry unisex finish.
