Ombre Verte

Ombre Verte draws on an oil painting in which numerous shades build a single colour. Jasper Li divides green into citrus, roots, flowers and woods, giving it layers rather than a uniform leafy impression. Its texture suggests forest hues changing with the angle of light.

Galbanum, white grapefruit and cypress create a bright green opening. Ylang-ylang, mimosa and rose meet Haitian vetiver at the heart, placing softer flowers beside the depth of roots. Chinese cedarwood, cashmeran and ambroxan leave a smooth woody drydown.

It fits an interest in leaves and woods with some floral softness. A walk or restrained daytime clothes can accompany its layered green character, particularly when less sweetness is preferred.

Created by Jasper Li, the eau de parfum appeared in the debut collection announced in 2021. The selected 50mL bottle shows its inner reservoir and thick clear glass base beneath a black cylindrical cap and white label.
