Magic Mango starts from the familiar mango scent and sets out to show other sides of it while keeping the fruit's juiciness intact. In the top, a ripe, almost syrupy mango is edged with the dry spice of nutmeg and clove, which keeps the sweetness from running flat. Saffron enters at the heart; the brand describes its slightly leathery nuance, and here it meets leather, moss and amber, lending the bright fruit warmth and a mossy, faintly bitter shade. The base gathers Akigalawood, patchouli, vetiver and cypriol into an earthy, lightly smoky layer of woods that holds the fruit from below, while the centre is meant to stay fruity and juicy throughout. Rather than a breezy tropical sweetness, this is mango worn as a dense, spiced fruit with real weight behind it. It is an eau de parfum at a stated 20% concentration.
