Green Water as it exists today is Cécile Zarokian's 2016 revival of the house's historic aromatic citrus fragrance. Working without access to the original formula, she collaborated with the house and with Jean Kerleo, perfumer and founder of the Osmothèque, studying the historic scent and refining her trials with his guidance.

The top notes are Neroli, Bergamot and Mandarin, with neroli used in generous quantities to preserve the freshness the original was loved for. Its bittersweet orange-blossom brightness ties together bergamot's crisp tartness and the rounder sweetness of mandarin.

In the heart, Mint, Basil and Tarragon lay herbal green over that citrus light: mint's coolness, the leafy bite of basil and tarragon's sweet, anise-like edge give the composition aromatic depth.

The base gathers Vetiver, Oakmoss and a natural Grey Amber infusion. Dry roots and damp moss bring an earthy shade, while the ambergris adds a soft warmth, carrying the bright herbs toward a calmer, more complex green.
