Island Lush
A woody spicy composition inspired by the South Pacific, where radiant spices melt into smooth woods.
Perfumer: Amélie Jacquin
Island Lush looks to the islands and distant shores of the South Pacific. Composed by Amélie Jacquin, this woody spicy fragrance brings radiant spices and smooth woods into a landscape of flowers, roots and deeper woody materials.
South Pacific sandalwood, identified by the brand as Santalum austrocaledonicum, forms its centre. Its rounded woody sweetness is accompanied by the warmth of Indonesian nutmeg and cardamom, with ginger adding a fresher spicy accent. These materials bring several different textures to the central sandalwood theme.
White flowers and geranium contribute floral softness and greenery. Paraguayan guaiac wood adds a smoky depth, while Haitian vetiver brings the dry character of roots. Tropical Australian agarwood gives the woods a denser expression alongside the smooth sandalwood. The composition draws its richness from the meeting of spices, flowers and these contrasting woody textures.
Island Lush is presented as an eau de parfum with a stated concentration of 25% essences and botanicals. French glass finished with gold lacquer houses this exploration of South Pacific landscapes through spice and wood.
