Secret Letter
An aromatic citrus of Japanese yuzu, lavender and lavandin, shaded by vetiver and moss, inspired by a poem of blurred handwriting and fading memory.
Handwriting blurred by the feelings poured into it, and a trace left behind by someone gone by the next morning: the poem for Secret Letter holds a face that has already become nostalgic, with memories falling away like drops of dew. Like every scent in the line, it is paired with an original soundtrack made by an artist. The fragrance itself is classed as an aromatic citrus built on yuzu, lavandin and vetiver.
Japanese yuzu joins orange and mandarin at the top, three citrus fruits together. The rounded sweetness of orange and mandarin meets yuzu's tart character. The brand describes the scent as sweet yuzu and gentle lavender, with moss and vetiver as accents.
The heart holds lavender, lavandin and geranium. Lavandin is a lavender hybrid that typically carries a sharper, more camphoraceous edge than lavender itself, and geranium adds a green-tinged floral note that gives the herbal layer more depth.
Vetiver and moss form the base. The dry, earthy smell of vetiver root and the damp green of moss cast a shadow beneath the bright citrus and herbs. Much like the blurred handwriting in the poem, light and shade overlap here.
