ル トゥルー 19 デュ ファール 100mL ボトル

In the brand's own story, Biarritz was where Albert Fouquet gathered with his friends. They combined meetings about the progress of the vineyards with time spent together. After those discussions came a golf match at Le Phare, and from it grew a tradition that came to be called the 19th Hole. The perfume's name, Le Trou 19 du Phare, refers to it. The brand says the scent holds the competitive spark and close friendship of those gatherings, along with the air of the French coast. It also presents the perfume as a homage to friendship, tradition and Biarritz itself.

The opening leads with the dry bite of black pepper. Frozen lemon and an aromatic blend tighten its outline, so the start feels sharp before it feels heavy. In the heart, cinnamon spreads a warm sweetness, and black leather adds the weight and texture of hide, raising the temperature of the scent. The base rests on Haitian vetiver, which is earthy and dry like roots, and on the straight woody line of cedarwood. Patchouli adds depth as the scent settles into a spicy, woody trail.

Built on pepper, leather and wood, it is a scent with a little grit. It suits the end of a day spent outdoors, or a relaxed evening with people you know well.
