Tokyo Songs
Small pockets of urban nature, with fermented ume and yuzu, a varied floral heart and black tea, settling towards moss and woods.
Perfumer: Aistis Mickevičius
A tree or a patch of blossom can make a passer-by pause in a city built from glass and concrete. Tokyo Songs follows these small pockets of nature and the flowers that change with the seasons. Loneliness may remain, yet there is beauty to notice in a passing moment. That modest discovery sits at the centre of the fragrance.
A fermented ume impression meets yuzu, with white and black pepper, coriander leaf and anise sharpening the outline. Carnation, jasmine, mimosa, osmanthus and other flowers gather around black tea, which brings a quieter shade to the floral heart. Cedarmoss, vetiver and sandalwood lead towards the traces of greenery and timber within the city.
Created by Aistis Mickevičius in 2026 for the Alchemist Charlatan collection, it imagines Tokyo through everyday encounters with flowers and air. The composition brings floral colour together with the calmer textures of tea and woods.
