Orris Cocoon
Powdery orris meets the green and lightly toasted texture of Longjing tea, with leaves, spice, wood, musk and leather providing quieter depth.
Perfumer: Florian Gallo
Orris Cocoon imagines a butterfly resting within a cocoon at night, before dawn gives it wings. Powderier orris and the quieter green character of Longjing tea express that atmosphere, bringing different textures into a gentler floral setting. Created by Florian Gallo and introduced as a parfum in 2025, it belongs to a chapter inspired by journeys through the night.
Violet leaf and orange form the opening, followed by orris, Longjing tea, coriander and rose at the heart. Fresher leaves and brighter citrus sit beside powderier flowers and the lightly toasted character associated with the green tea, while coriander seed adds a finer spicy detail. Cashmeran, vetiver, cedarwood and musk provide the base. A leather texture also forms part of the stated fragrant direction, placing another drier impression between the softer powder and the woody setting.
Consider it when you prefer the powderier aspects of orris and greener tea textures alongside floral sweetness. Quieter clothes or an occasion when you want flowers accompanied by softer wood offer ways to explore its balance. Pale golden liquid is visible through the frosted glass of the 100mL bottle. Gold-toned lettering and a rounded ivory-coloured cap keep the design within a gentler visual palette, reflecting the fragrance's quieter texture and its image of a cocoon before dawn.
