Match Point Eau de Parfum
Lemon and gentian’s bitter freshness meet patchouli and vetiver, expressing a decisive moment through a stronger woody character.
Perfumer: Jean-Christophe Hérault, Bruno Jovanovic
Match Point Eau de Parfum takes the tension of a decisive point and the impulse to act as its inspiration. Introduced in 2021 and developed by Bruno Jovanovic and Jean-Christophe Hérault, it contrasts stronger woods with bitter freshness. Energy meets a calmer woody foundation.
Lemon brings a brighter edge with black pepper, while gentian and cardamom give freshness a deeper outline. Patchouli and vetiver supply the woody texture supporting that clearer movement. The composition offers citrus alongside bitterness and drier wood, suiting a mood that calls for more depth as well as freshness.
The 100mL bottle carries a green gradient and a cap recalling a racket grip. Its concave base represents the impact of the match ball, while the silver line across the label evokes a tennis court. These details bring the feeling of facing a decisive sporting moment into the design.
