The opening reads like the entrance of an unfamiliar wood. Grapefruit, bergamot, and orange spread a clean citrus brightness overhead, with the lightness of sunlight breaking through leaves at the edge of a path. There's freshness, but also a quiet alertness.
In the heart, vetiver, magnolia, and muguet intertwine. Vetiver carries damp earth, magnolia lends a pale, graceful bloom, and muguet threads a cool, transparent floral through them — together they build a dense, living green rather than a soft bouquet.
The base settles on cedarwood and musk, dry wood against skin-close softness. What stays is less the drama of the myth than its afterimage: the memory of the forest after curiosity has quieted.
