KINFOLK NOTES is a Seoul-based fragrance brand extending the ideas of Kinfolk, the lifestyle magazine that has asked how to live well since 2011. According to the brand, its scents now have admirers from Seoul to New York and Copenhagen.

History

Since its founding, Kinfolk has explored that question on the printed page. The brand calls its next chapter a shift “from print to ritual,” moving from stories to everyday behaviours and from consumption to participation. The business is run by Kinfolk Beauty Co., Ltd., which keeps its offices and flagship store on Yeonmujang-gil in Seoul's Seongsu neighbourhood.

Philosophy & Signature Style

KINFOLK NOTES treats perfume less as a product than as a ritual: a way to set an atmosphere, mark a moment and hold on to a memory. Three themes drawn from the magazine guide the work, with Slow inviting you to take time with a scent, Simple paring design back to essentials and Together seeing fragrance as a shared language between people. Beyond perfume, the range covers hand and body care, diffusers and candles, so one scent can travel through the whole day and home.

Iconic Fragrances

Garden Shower, Captain's Bar and Blue Velvet are among the brand's best-selling eaux de parfum, with Captain's Bar also offered as a body wash, hand cream, lotion and diffuser. In the bath and hand-care range, Splendor in the Grass and The Grey Area are steady favourites.
