Sweet Dreams
A powdery citrus eau de parfum built on bergamot, lavender, tonka and patchouli, inspired by the Eurythmics song Sweet Dreams.
Sweet Dreams opens on a soft citrus top of bergamot, orange and lemon — thin in body but with a clear core, more like a pale light than a sharp burst of acidity. The brightness holds together quietly rather than announcing itself.
Kinfolk Notes describes the scent as inspired by Eurythmics' Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), and the middle sits as if timed to that song's looping pulse: lavender, tonka bean and patchouli braided together. Lavender gives a cool, almost waxy petal; tonka adds a powdery sweetness; patchouli pulls everything downward with a damp, soil-like depth, so the heart feels half-dreamed.
Cedarwood runs through the base as a single dry grain, catching what the lavender and citrus leave behind. The house talks about a watery green, dreamlike space with lavender petals carried on a cool wind, and the result reads as a short crossing between memory and fantasy rather than a straightforward floral or citrus.
