Touching Hinoki pictures Japanese quiet and harmony as a watercolor, with soft shades overlapping rather than forceful colour. The fleeting beauty of nature becomes a fragrance drawn with a restrained touch, as though a landscape could emerge from only a few brushstrokes.
Bergamot and white grapefruit bring light, while black pepper and cardamom add a gentle aromatic edge. Hinoki wood, pine and elemi form the centre, combining clear timber with a resinous presence. Cedarmoss, vetiver and musk support the calmer finish. The structure suggests a shift of attention from citrus light into the shade of trees.
Aistis Mickevičius created it in 2025 for the Alchemist Charlatan collection. It offers a way to appreciate hinoki as part of a quiet landscape, with space for air and light around the wood.
