Dance Amongst the Lace
Two mints, lime and verbena lead to greener herbs and fruit, supported by vetiver, wood and moss.
Perfumer: Bertrand Duchaufour
Dance Amongst the Lace explores places where London’s urban fabric meets nature, taking inspiration from cow parsley’s white flowers and greener leaves. Bertrand Duchaufour sought to evoke the lighter feeling of those smaller blooms in summer sunshine. Introduced in 2019, it belongs to the Forage collection.
Red berries, cardamom, spearmint, peppermint, lime and verbena provide a cooler aromatic opening. Bergamot, fennel, angelica root, Bourbon geranium and cassis occupy the heart. Vetiver, sandalwood, moss, musk and myrrh support the finish, connecting fresher greenery with drier wood and moss.
Consider it for warmer walks when mint and greenery should feel more expansive together. Its urban-foraging inspiration informs this editorial suggestion. The illustrated 100mL Eau de Parfum has rectangular clear glass, a gold cylindrical cap, a yellow front label and a thick transparent base.
