Morning light reaches a quiet bath at a hot-spring inn: the imagined setting holds a steaming hinoki tub and, in season, floating yuzu. The name has another playful story, waking fifteen minutes after a seven o'clock alarm and taking a breath before rushing ahead. Lime and orange bring brightness, with pink pepper and cardamom adding a dry spark. Guaiac wood and rosewood lead into cedar, sandalwood and vetiver, giving the citrus a faintly smoky, forest-like setting. Created by Gilles Berthoumieux, uka's long-time nail-oil collaborator, it joined the brand's first perfume range in 2022.
