Chandigarh Express
Cardamom and citrus meet flowers and leather, with deeper vetiver and warmer benzoin.
Perfumer: Gaël Montero
Chandigarh Express was created by Gaël Montero and introduced in 2024. The modernist city imagined in northern India during the 1950s shapes its setting, bringing a vision of architecture into contact with tropical nature. Flowers, leather and wood express different textures within that meeting.
Cardamom, mandarin and bergamot lead into leather accord, jasmine, davana and Mahonial. Vetiver, patchouli, benzoin and tonka bean form the base. Brighter citrus and spice meet fuller floral and leather-like textures, supported by the deeper character of wood and warmer resin.
Consider it when spice and leather suit the rounder presence of flowers and resin. This is a composition-based suggestion. The illustrated 100mL Eau de Parfum has glass fading from black above to clear below, a gold-coloured cap and gold geometric lines around the fragrance name.
