Perseus
Vivid grapefruit meets geranium, with vetiver and amberwood giving it a woody outline.
Perfumer: Nathalie Templer
Perseus centres on the relationship between grapefruit, geranium and vetiver. Created by Nathalie Templer and introduced in 2024, it brings brighter citrus into contact with calmer wood. Aromatic and woody textures give the more vivid character of the fruit a defined outline.
Bergamot and grapefruit form the opening, followed by geranium and blackcurrant bud at the heart. Vetiver, amberwood and ambergris provide the base. The tart, lightly bitter impression of citrus meets greener aromatic notes and the drier outline of wood, keeping brightness beside a more grounded depth.
Consider it for daytime outings when brighter citrus and a woody foundation suit the moment. This is a suggestion from its composition. The illustrated 125mL Eau de Parfum has a vivid orange opaque bottle and silver-coloured cap, with raised horses and a shield marked 1743 on the front.
