Delina
Lychee and rhubarb brighten Damask rose, with musk and cashmeran adding a softer embrace.
Perfumer: Quentin Bisch
Delina introduces juicy lychee before allowing Damask rose to become its floral centre. Created by Quentin Bisch and introduced in 2017, it combines the brightness of fruit with fuller flowers, then gathers them within softer wood and musk. A tart edge to the fruit gives the generous floral theme a more distinct outline.
Bergamot, lychee and the green tartness of rhubarb form the opening. Damask rose meets the warmth of nutmeg at the heart, before cashmeran, musk and vetiver provide the base. The composition moves from lively fruit towards the smoother texture of wood and musk, allowing that softer foundation to support the rose rather than obscuring the brighter opening.
Consider it for daytime outings or clothing that suits a fuller rose with a lively fruity accent. This is a suggestion from its composition. The illustrated 75mL Eau de Parfum has a pale pink opaque bottle, a silver-coloured cap, pink tassels at the neck and raised decoration on the front.
