upstream
Citrus, herbs, flowers, ozone, moss and roots portray a clear sky and rising air.
Perfumer: Hidenori Matsuno
Upstream depicts an aircraft trail in a clear sky and movement towards rising air. Kilesa uses lime for the cloud streak, with sage, tarragon and ozone suggesting upward currents. Flowers receive support from amber, moss and quieter vetiver.
Lime, white grapefruit, lemon and bergamot open with acidic, bitter and brighter peel impressions. Sage, tarragon, ylang-ylang, jasmine, rose and ozone create the heart. Air-like detail surrounds aromatic leaves and flowers. Amber, musk, oakmoss and vetiver form the base, leading towards softer warmth, moss and shaded roots.
It suits a daytime setting when fresh citrus with flowers and drier rooted depth feels inviting. The rounded 50 mL clear-glass bottle carries a copper-coloured cap and its name printed directly on the front.
