Scent Development and Character
A dark, resinous oud composition where saffron and cumin kindle a smoky, spicy opening, quickly wrapped in dense woods of guaiac, cedar, vetiver and amyris. As it settles, Fortis becomes an inky, shadowed veil of sandalwood, ambergris, vanilla, patchouli and musk that feels both balsamic and slightly powdery, like warm smoke curling over polished wood.

Fortis wears as a dense, meditative oud scent with pronounced spice and smoke in the first hour, then thickening into a warm, woody-amber base with a slightly powdery, resinous sweetness. It feels more suited to evening, cold weather, and contemplative settings than casual daytime, and pairs well with structured tailoring or dark, textured fabrics. Best suited to autumn and winter, with limited use on cool spring evenings; generally too dense and smoky for hot summer days. Sillage: Pronounced sillage with a dense aura; projects strongly in the first few hours before settling into a steady, enveloping trail close to arm’s length.
