Gueule de Bois Roll-on

Gueule de Bois Roll-on is Amélie Bourgeois’s transformation of sandalwood through the warmth of rum. Its name is the French expression for a hangover, suggesting a morning that still carries the atmosphere of the previous night. Spice, smoke, amber and a sweet alcoholic impression share the scent with soft woods.

Pepper, pink pepper and cinnamon give the rounded rum character a brighter edge. Smoky incense adds depth, while ambery sweetness and smooth sandalwood provide a more enveloping surface. Sharpness and softness remain together around the warm wooden center. The relationship between dry smoke and the richness of rum gives the composition its quiet, reassuring texture.

This alcohol-free extrait contains 30% fragrance in plant-based oils. It comes in a transparent 15mL rollerball bottle with a black cap.
