Aqua Memorabilis is a citrus-woody fragrance built around clementine. Perfumer Vanina Muracciole describes an opening shaped by the delicacy and roundness of Italian clementine, followed by a warm, spicy heart and an overdose of cedar.
The top pairs clementine with grapefruit, pink berries and bitter orange. Jovoy places the clementine between fruit and zest, with a bittersweet green tint. In the heart the clementine returns, now lightly veiled by violet and black pepper.
Cedarwood, ambergris, musk, vetiver and sandalwood make up the base. Cedar takes the largest share, vetiver stays in the background, and creamy sandalwood softens the edges above an ambery wood foundation.
Muracciole also describes raspberry and oakmoss adding sparkle, and calls the whole a volcanic accord. The composition moves from bright citrus toward a dense woody body.
