Sacristie Des Arbres takes an old forest as its setting and imagines listening to the quiet of its trees. The idea of resting the senses within nature and listening to one another shapes the extrait de parfum. Greener pine and mint join sweeter resin, wood and rose.
Vanilla, vetiver, benzoin, resinoid incense, ambrette and amber form the subject; Damask rose and guaiac wood the counter-subject; pine essence, Virginia cedarwood, incense and mint the tail. Warmer sweet resins meet drier wood and flowers, with pine and mint adding cooler greenery.
It suggests sweetness and warmth that still carry the outline of woodland and leaves. The cylindrical 100mL glass bottle has an ornate black-and-gold label beneath a large gold-coloured hand cap. Extended fingertips, a ring and the textured back of the hand form the design above the complete glass base.
