Bois Sikar begins with founder Jean-Philippe Clermont’s affection for the world of cigars. The scent evokes the wood of a cedar cigar box and the smoky peat of Islay whisky.
Nutmeg and guaiac wood bring a dry warmth to the opening. Vetiver, styrax and cedar leaf follow, before tobacco absolute, cypriol and incense give the base its smoky depth. Perfumer Marie Salamagne describes the composition as a powerful, smoky evocation of a gentlemen’s club.
