Scent Development and Character
A radiant spicy–citrus and woody composition that opens in a vivid burst of mandarin, blood orange and grapefruit cut with ginger, peppers, cardamom and green cypress over resinous elemi. The heart turns darker and more sensual with smoky guaiac wood, bitter cocoa and the fruity rose molecule Pomarose. A warm, enveloping base of tonka bean, vanillin, vetiver and cedarwood settles into a long-lasting trail where creamy sweetness, dry woods and earthy vetiver balance the earlier sparkling spices.
Who It Is For and When to Wear It
On skin, Âme du Coeur starts bright, sparkling and spicy, with citrus and ginger dominant in the first hour before the peppers, cardamom and cypress give a more aromatic, slightly resinous edge. As it develops, cocoa and guaiac wood deepen the fragrance and Pomarose adds a subtle fruity rose nuance without becoming floral. The drydown is smoother and more comforting, built around tonka, vanillin, vetiver and cedarwood, making it versatile from day to evening in cooler or temperate weather and suitable for anyone who enjoys a lively yet warm unisex spicy–citrus–woody scent. Well suited to autumn and winter, when the warm tonka, cocoa and woods feel cozy, but also wearable in spring’s milder temperatures; in hot summer it is best used lightly due to its sweetness and spice. Sillage: moderate, forming a clear aura in the first few hours before settling closer to the skin, with a warm, spicy–woody trail that is present but not overpowering. Longevity: Moderate to strong longevity; the spicy–citrus opening softens after a few hours but cocoa, woods and tonka maintain a noticeable presence for most of the day on normal skin.
