Mythique Vétyver is a tribute to Haitian vetiver root whose marked woody trail is easy to recognize. Alberto Morillas chose to highlight its most original facets, pairing each with notes that crown its strong character.
Its lively side, both citrus-like and bitter, is drawn out by Sicilian lemon and Calabrian bergamot essences. Its floral side, which the brand says comes surprisingly close to rose, is echoed by Bourbon geranium, nicknamed the "men's rose".
For the dense, smoky facet, papyrus is warmed by an amber-woody accord of patchouli and cistus labdanum. In the official pyramid, cistus labdanum absolute sits in the heart with geranium, while papyrus, Haitian vetiver and patchouli heart form the base. Citrus and geranium bring light to the dry woody and smoky character of the vetiver.
