About Mizensir

Mizensir is a Swiss fragrance house founded in Geneva in 1999 by master perfumer Alberto Morillas. It began with scented candles and later expanded into personal perfumes.

History

Alberto Morillas, renowned in fine perfumery, started making candles with his wife because he couldn't find interior fragrances that met his exacting standards. In 1999, they combined their skills to create artisanal scented candles in Geneva, marking the birth of Mizensir. Today, the house is managed by their daughter Véronique and offers over a hundred candle and room fragrance references.

Philosophy & Signature Style

Mizensir is dedicated to craftsmanship and a deep understanding of raw materials, with extensive research into combustion and scent diffusion. In recent years, Morillas has cultivated a more personal line, Mizensir Parfums, returning to the fundamentals of traditional perfumery with his most cherished ingredients. The collection gives him room to develop intimate ideas alongside the extensive work he has composed for other houses.

Iconic Fragrances (or Did You Know?)

Signature scents include "For Your Love," inspired by the scent of a kiss, and "Bright Wood," a luminous woody composition. All Mizensir perfumes are made in Switzerland and presented in bottles designed by the French glassmaker Pochet du Courval.
