Vert Empire
A woody aromatic shaped by the memory of citrus trees returning from the orangery to the garden at winter's end. Mandarin and petit grain glow green and bright over sandalwood and angelica.

Vert Empire grows out of Alberto Morillas's love for his own garden. At the end of winter, while the cold remains and the first spring light approaches, citrus trees that have spent months in the orangery are moved back outside. Mizensir presents this as a ritual welcoming sunny days and the aromatic, zesty liveliness that comes with them.
At the centre of the scent are mandarin and petit grain. The sweet bitterness of the peel meets the greenness of the leaves, creating a brightness like citrus glowing among foliage. Paradisone and cardamom add a lightness that recalls clear morning air.
Beneath this lies the smell of earth and the strength of wood with a slightly mineral character. Benzoin, sage and Australian sandalwood run a firm line between the green of the leaves and the sweet bitterness of citrus. The alliance of sandalwood and Ambrox with angelica and sage supports the composition like a stake guiding a tree.
