Tender Oud tells the story of a dreamed Orient imagined by master perfumer Alberto Morillas. The sun has set over the Sahara, the sand is still warm, tents are pitched for the night and an oasis appears among distant dunes. The idea is a sand that holds the scents of everyone who has crossed it.
The top notes are grapefruit essence, essence of green cardamom and saffron absolute. Bitter-bright citrus and cool cardamom meet saffron's dry, leathery spice, echoing the spice caravans in the brand's story.
The heart combines cypriol, mate absolute and Paradisone®. Earthy, smoky cypriol is lifted by the dry-leaf character of mate and the transparent floral brightness of Paradisone®, which lets air into the woods.
The base of Muscone® and essence of cedarwood from Atlas brings dry wood and musk, supporting what Mizensir calls the dry minerality of sand grains. Its spicy, woody and smoky accents are described as a tribute to the travelers who walked these routes.
