Bois de Mysore

A woody tribute to the origins of sandalwood, moving from green freshness through creamy sandalwood to a mineral musk as if descending from crown to roots.

ボワ ドゥ マイソール 100mL ボトル

Bois de Mysore is Mizensir's tribute to the origins of sandalwood, looking toward Karnataka in India. The brand describes the scent as a walk through a single tree, from the crown through the trunk down to the roots. Alberto Morillas composed it.

Cardamom and violet leaf express the green side of the plant, along with freshness and roundness. Green cardamom opens alongside mandarin and neroli, while violet leaf joins Indian sambac jasmine in the heart.

The fragrance then moves into the core of the wood, where creamy, intense sandalwood takes the lead. The name points to Mysore in India, and Sri Lankan sandalwood essence forms part of the base.

At the roots sits Vulcanolide®, a mineral, earthy white musk. Blended with sandalwood, it gives a lightly powdery sensuality that the brand likens to suede.
