Cologne de Figuier
A green, lightly woody citrus sketched from the scent of a fig leaf crushed between the palms.
Perfumer: Alberto Morillas
Cologne de Figuier is built on a simple gesture: picking a fig leaf and crumpling it in your palms. Mizensir calls the result an olfactory sketch, gathering into that moment the green, milky liveliness released by the stem, the roundness of fruit still ripening in the sun and the cool of an afternoon in the tree's shade.
The top sets bergamot and grapefruit essences around a fig leaf accord, with Ambrox® already present at this stage. The bitter edge of the citrus peel sharpens the leaf's greenness. In the heart, galbanum essence adds a sharper, more vegetal green, and SFE pink pepper essence gives the outline a light spicy lift.
Vulcanolide® and Cetalox® make up the base, where the brand describes woody notes, a nod to the tree's sturdiness, wrapped in mineral and amber tones. Leaf and stem meet the roundness of ripening fruit and a woody depth, sketching the different parts of a fig tree.
