Solar Blossom
A childhood memory of Seville in 1960, told through neroli, orange blossom, jasmine and a light touch of vanilla.
Perfumer: Alberto Morillas
Solar Blossom starts in Seville in 1960. Orange trees in bloom scent a patio under the strong spring sun, a sea breeze calls toward the beach, and vanilla ice cream waits in the shade. This is how master perfumer Alberto Morillas recalls his sunlit childhood days in Spain.
The official pyramid opens with Seville orange neroli essence and Paradisone®, which the house links to the smell of cool water thrown onto hot tiles. Together they give the opening a clean, watery lift before the flowers settle in. In the heart, Egyptian jasmine absolute and Egyptian orange blossom absolute stand for warm air saturated with scent.
Vanilla over-absolute sits in the base and adds a soft, gourmand sweetness. Mizensir describes the whole as a layered collection of memories gathered around orange blossom, only lightly sweet. It suits someone who wants white-flower brightness with a gentle touch of vanilla rather than a heavy dessert accord.
