Santal Intense
Citrus, greener grass, spice and lavender lead towards sandalwood, amber and warmer frankincense.
Santal Intense takes inspiration from a Floris sandalwood fragrance of the nineteenth century, imagining the scent of wood in India. Introduced in 2024, this Eau de Parfum centres sandalwood and gives greater richness to amber and frankincense. A traditional woody fougère gains warmer depth through that emphasis.
Bergamot, lemon and greener grass meet black pepper and cardamom. Clove, lavender and nutmeg lead towards sandalwood, cedar and vetiver. Amber, frankincense, musk and vanilla surround the drier wood and spice with gentler sweetness, balancing aromatic clarity with a warmer foundation.
Consider it with sharper morning clothing or to bring warmer wood into an evening outing. It is a separate work from Santal Eau de Toilette. The illustrated 100mL bottle has clear rectangular glass, a gold cap, an orange front label and a thick transparent base.
