The inspiration is a humid early-summer day of steady rain. Soft light breaks through in the distance, wet leaves look vivid, and thoughts surface and fade while waiting for the sky to clear. Athletia frames this as reflection, a stretch of time accepted rather than hurried.
Jasmine sambac, geranium and ylang-ylang unfold in the middle. Here the rich florals they convey the strength and clarity of flowers wet with rain, keeping a raw edge instead of turning showy.
Labdanum and vetiver carry the afterglow, pairing earthiness with a clear sweetness that recalls an afternoon touched by soft light.
