A transparent, airy take on the scent of sand, moving from ho wood and bergamot through a sand accord to vetiver and patchouli.

Solution No.1 interprets the scent of sand in its transparent, airy shades. Sand also serves as an allegory for Off-White itself, and it is presented as a symbol of cultures and coastlines around the world, because it travels across the planet carried by wind and seas.
The top pairs ho wood with bergamot, clary sage and an aromatic facet. The soft brightness of ho wood meets the bitter citrus edge of bergamot and the herbal lift of sage, so the opening feels dry and light. At the heart, seaweed sits beside a sand accord: a fine, mineral grain joined by the green, faintly damp touch of seaweed.
The base brings vetiver, patchouli, sandalwood and ambergris. The earthy dryness of vetiver and the depth of patchouli form a woody frame, while sandalwood smooths its edges. Rather than turning sand into something sweet, the perfume renders it through clarity and dry wood. It is also suggested for layering with Solution No.7 or No.10.
