Solution No.2 is built on a contrast between two characters: freshness and wood. It is described as a joyful fragrance with a fresh, energetic start, and it is suggested for layering with Solution No.1 or No.9.
The top gathers bergamot, mandarin leaves, ginger and lemon. Citrus brightness meets the green bitterness of mandarin leaf, and the zest of fresh ginger sharpens that freshness further. Here ginger works less as warmth than as a brightener for the citrus, so peel and leaf come forward more than sweet juice.
The heart holds coriander leaves, orange blossom, lavender and jasmine sambac. Leafy herbs and the clean edge of lavender carry the citrus line onward, while orange blossom and jasmine add a fuller white-floral body.
The base sets cedarwood and vetiver beside amber and white musk. The dry woods ground the composition while amber and musk round off their edges, and this woody signature is meant to give the fragrance an elegant, unisex air.
