Mr. Burberry Eau de Toilette
Crisper grapefruit meets earthy vetiver and smoky guaiac wood in a contemporary interpretation of classic British perfumery.
Perfumer: Francis Kurkdjian
Mr. Burberry Eau de Toilette combines a sense of classic British perfumery with a more contemporary expression of London. Francis Kurkdjian brings brighter grapefruit together with the quieter textures of vetiver and guaiac wood. The fragrance develops a contrast between a crisper citrus outline and a more grounded woody character, joining sophistication to a fresher aromatic expression.
Crisp, zesty grapefruit top notes bring a brighter citrus quality. Earthy vetiver and smoky guaiac wood form the advertised base, adding depth through their contrasting woody textures. Citrus therefore meets a quieter, more earthy surrounding, combining freshness with the different qualities of roots and woods.
Try it when you want earthier woods alongside brighter citrus. The current official 100mL bottle pairs a black cylindrical cap with rectangular, subtly translucent glass. The series draws on the black Burberry trench coat and its craftsmanship and buttons. Mr. Burberry lettering and a thicker base define its understated shape.
