Citrus leads to rose and orris in a floral woody fragrance inspired by pearls' soft shimmer in sunlight.

Steve Guo wanted to capture the understated shimmer of pearls in sunlight. That image became Charming Pup, one of the fragrances inspired by MCM's leather animal characters in 2025. Bergamot, Italian lemon and orange introduce a bright citrus opening. Rose then meets the soft, powdery impression of orris and carrot seed. Cedarwood and vetiver bring woody depth to the finish, with tonka bean leaving a rounded sweetness. The puppy-shaped cap expresses the endearing side of the idea, while the flowers and woods lend a more composed character. Together they offer a floral woody fragrance whose gentle texture echoes its pearly starting point.
