migration
Citrus, rose, neroli, moss and vetiver explore the enduring beauty of wild roses through changing seasons.
Perfumer: Hidenori Matsuno
Migration is a kilesa eau de parfum about wild roses that change with the seasons while retaining their untamed beauty. The house imagines their scent carried by the wind into new stories. Bright flowers above a mossy, earthy base express that continuity, giving the floral theme a more grounded character than a purely sweet rose perfume.
Bergamot, lemon and geranium introduce the composition. Rose, neroli, ozone and jasmine form the heart, with citrus and an airy detail keeping the flowers luminous. Musk, patchouli, amber, oakmoss and vetiver create the base. They bring softness, warmth and a drier earthy shade beneath the floral centre, providing a clear contrast to its brighter opening.
The fragrance fits a walk or daytime outing when flowers with natural green and mossy detail are appealing. It also suits a preference for rose with an earthy foundation rather than fruit or vanilla sweetness. The 50 mL bottle has low, rounded clear glass, a rounded copper-coloured cap and the fragrance name on the front.
