Rose
Bergamot and cassis brighten garden rose and fig, with drier vetiver and softer white musk.
Perfumer: Laurent Le Guernec
Rose pays homage to landscape architect Beatrix Farrand, the designer of the Rose Garden at the New York Botanical Garden. Laurent Le Guernec worked with the gardeners to recreate the living scent of a rose grown there. Capturing its fragrance without cutting the flowers connects the garden’s visual beauty with a more sensory experience.
Bergamot zest and cassis add brighter, slightly tart fruit. Heirloom rose and softer fig occupy the centre. Vetiver and white musk follow, supporting the richer petals with drier root and quieter texture on skin. Fruit and floral softness meet a more defined earthy foundation.
Consider it when rose should gain fresher fruit and more composed root-like depth. Introduced in 2023, it is presented as Perfume by the house. The illustrated 60mL bottle has short cylindrical glass, a deep-green sculpted cap, yellow colour, front embossing and a thick clear base.
