Valaya
Inspired by linen brushing the skin, white peach and white flowers meet white musk and akigalawood.
Perfumer: Quentin Bisch
Valaya imagines a fine veil of linen brushing the skin. Created by Quentin Bisch and introduced in 2023, it connects bright mandarin and creamier white flowers with akigalawood and musk. The texture of that imagined fabric is expressed through the relationship between flowers, smoother musk and a more defined woody foundation.
Bergamot and mandarin meet white peach in the opening, before orange blossom and white flowers form the heart. White musk, akigalawood, vanilla and vetiver provide the base, giving the softer flowers a woody outline. The rounded sweetness of fruit and the smoother musky texture contribute to the linen-inspired impression, keeping brightness in contact with a gentler floral character.
Consider it with softer fabrics or for everyday moments that suit brighter white flowers and wood. This is a suggestion from the composition. The illustrated 75mL Eau de Parfum has milky translucent glass, a silver-coloured cap, white tassels at the neck and raised decoration on the front.
