BERGAMIA
Italian bergamot leads this citrus-aromatic blend, with mandarin, thyme, rosemary, neroli and petitgrain around it. Bright peel, green herbs and a faint bitter edge stay light from morning into evening.
Perfumer: Linda Sivrican
Bergamia builds around Italian bergamot, keeping the fruit's bright peel at the front. Mandarin adds a rounder, juicier citrus note, while thyme and rosemary bring a green herbal edge that keeps the sweetness in check. Neroli and petitgrain sit between flower and leaf, contributing a clean, faintly bitter tone.
The official notes are bergamot, thyme, mandarin, rosemary, neroli, petitgrain, juniper, vetiver and patchouli. The opening is citrus and herbs; on skin, juniper's dry character and the earthy weight of vetiver and patchouli settle underneath. It does not turn into a sweet bouquet or a heavy resin. The bitter, green quality stays present as the scent quiets down.
Worn in the morning, it gives the impression of citrus peel just opened. By afternoon the herbal edges soften and a dry vetiver texture remains, so it can carry from daytime errands into an early dinner without changing character. It suits a white shirt or linen, and it stays light rather than filling the room.
Each batch is made by hand in small quantities, so color can vary and a slight cloudiness or sediment may appear from the natural materials. It is an Eau de Parfum in a 50 ml bottle, made in Los Angeles.
