cruising-area explores hidden nocturnal spaces and the rituals through which people recognise one another. Its concept moves away from public appearance toward intimacy and a sense of oneself. Smoke and warmer spices accompany earthy patchouli and woody textures.
Smoky notes, warm spices and cloves form the subject; patchouli, amyris, black pepper and vetiver the counter-subject; copahu balsam, gurjun balsam, guaiac wood, cedarwood and precious woods the tail. Warm smoke and spices meet earthier and drier wood, with softer balsamic depth around them.
It suggests enjoying smoke and wood rather than sweeter flowers or fruit. The black cylindrical 30mL bottle carries white X SÉ lettering and the fragrance name. A rough handmade black cap and a black fastening extending to the left give the small object its industrial appearance.
