Continental
A woody-spicy scent that moves from orange and mint through leather and incense to cedar and vetiver, born of a longing to travel.
Perfumer: Christian Provenzano
CRA-YON traces Continental to the 2020 global lockdown, when travel was out of reach. With perfumer Christian Provenzano, the brand gathered materials tied to different parts of the world, shaping the idea of crossing continents by scent. It opens on ripe orange, with the resinous green of French cypress and a cool lift of Indian mint, while Madagascar ylang adds a touch of floral roundness. The heart turns drier and spicier: coriander and sharp lemongrass lead into a leather accord and the smoke of Somali incense. The base settles into layered woods, Atlas and Virginian cedar, Haitian vetiver and sandalwood, warmed by an oud accord, cashmere musk and amber. The arc runs from bright citrus through leather and smoke to dry, warm wood. Its character is assured rather than loud. This woody-spicy composition suits tailored clothing and anyone drawn to leather and incense framed by fresh citrus.
The house states a 20% perfume oil concentration for this Eau de Parfum.
