Heaven Moon Osmanthus draws on lunar myth. In PAÑPURI's story, osmanthus absolute carries the legend of the Jade Emperor's ascent, jasmine becomes a troupe of moonlit dancers, and the scent unfolds as a mythical evening under the moon.
The structure has three clear tiers. Petitgrain from bitter orange opens with a green, slightly bitter citrus. The heart brings lily of the valley, osmanthus absolute and jasmine sambac together: the lily's clear freshness keeps the apricot-like sweetness of osmanthus and the richer jasmine from becoming dense.
Musk, cedarwood, sandalwood and vetiver form the base. The brand describes vetiver as grounding the scent, a reminder of the journey back from the Moon Palace, and its dry, rooty character offers a counterweight to the golden sweetness of the flowers. Musk and the two woods give the finish a smooth, quiet foundation.
