Scent Development and Character
A dark, earthy vetiver wrapped in balsamic warmth: the rooty green facets are smoothed by Peruvian balm and benzoin into a dense, oriental woody veil. The chocolate‑like, resinous undertone gives a slightly dusty, cocoa impression rather than brightness, moving from green and rooty to shadowed, ambery wood.
Who It Is For and When to Wear It
Best suited to cooler weather and evening wear, Vetiver oriental works in contemplative, intimate settings or formal occasions where a dry, resinous woody fragrance is appropriate. Its density can be overwhelming in heat or very confined spaces, so moderate application is recommended. Most appropriate for autumn and winter wear; it can also work on cool spring days but tends to feel too dense in high heat. Sillage is Moderate to strong sillage, forming a noticeable but not overwhelming aura when applied with restraint. Longevity is Long-lasting: typically 8–10 hours on skin, with the resinous base persisting well into the drydown.
