Le Sel d’Issey Eau de Toilette
Salt, laminaria seaweed and oakmoss meet ginger, vetiver and cedarwood at the boundary of sea and land.
Perfumer: Quentin Bisch
Le Sel d’Issey Eau de Toilette draws on essential salt and the memory left by moving waves. Quentin Bisch interprets sea and land through a contrast of cooler marine freshness and warmer wood.
Laminaria seaweed and oakmoss suggest the sea and damp earth, lifted by a refreshing salt accord. Ginger adds energy, while mineral vetiver and forceful cedarwood give the marine character a calmer woody support.
Tokujin Yoshioka designed the 100mL bottle, pairing elliptical glass curves with a light-catching metallic cap. It offers sea-air freshness for a day when wood and earth also feel appealing.
