Beautiful Solid Perfume
Beautiful's rich floral of rose, tuberose and orange flower, brightened with mandarin and warmed by woods, in a solid perfume compact.
Perfumer: Sophia Grojsman, Max Gavarry, Bernard Chant
"The fragrance of a thousand flowers" is how Estée Lauder sums up Beautiful, and the composition is built around that abundance. Rose, lily, tuberose and marigold appear at the top, and orange flower, muguet, jasmine and ylang-ylang carry the heart. The showiness of rose, the dense sweetness of tuberose and the clear lightness of muguet take turns, building a full, rich floral.
Mandarin in the top brightens that bouquet, while sandalwood, vetiver and amber in the base warm it. The citrus loosens the weight of the flowers, and smooth wood, the dry earthiness of vetiver and the warmth of amber settle the scent at the end.
Beautiful Solid Perfume holds the scent of Beautiful Eau de Parfum as a balm in a limited-edition compact called A Tall Pour, paired with the line "Save water, drink champagne." The name suggests a generously filled glass, which suits the celebratory abundance of the flowers. The compact was designed by jewelry designer Monica Rich Kosann.
