Mildažytė

Mildažytė places the richness of roses at the centre of Aistis Mickevičius’s composition. Conceived as a dedication to the centifolia rose of Provence, it surrounds generous petals with spice, tea, wood and leather. The result offers a more layered setting for someone drawn to the softer character of rose alongside quieter, more substantial textures.

Coriander seed, white pepper, Calabrian bergamot and grapefruit form the opening. Centifolia and Damask roses meet jasmine, peony and ylang-ylang in the heart; saffron, Bourbon geranium and black tea add drier spice and leafy texture. Haitian vetiver, Indonesian patchouli, amber, oakmoss, cypress, blackwood and leather provide a foundation of wood, earth and smoother leathery shades.

Consider it when rose should share the composition with woods and tea rather than remain a sweet bouquet, perhaps for a cooler-day outing or quieter clothing.
